Fathom

Through Film

Fathom House develops and produces narrative and documentary work that explores the thresholds of human experience - where emotion, ethics, and imagination meet. From psychological horror to social realism, each film seeks to challenge perception and awaken empathy.

Current Projects

Detain Me | A psychological horror feature in pre-production, Detain Me follows a woman whose unraveling mind blurs the line between guilt and reality. The film examines memory, responsibility, and the terror of not trusting oneself.

De Stiltewet | A near-future sci-fi horror short film exploring fear, control, and silence in a society where speaking after nightfall has been outlawed.

Modern Decay | An experimental short film blending poetry, image, and sound to explore the beauty and melancholy of impermanence. A multi-year, multi-country project.

Past Projects

Earlier works laid the foundation for Fathom House’s voice: intimate, atmospheric and rich. These short films and documentaries have screened internationally and informed the company's continuing evolution. A selection of past projects:

Uncontrol | A psychological horror short in which a woman, consumed by untreated OCD, descends into psychosis and confronts the demon within.

Radiant Choice | A narrative music film set to Debussy’s Clair de Lune, following one woman across two realities as she learns to live with the weight of choice: whether to become a mother or remain childless.

RISE | An 11-video documentary and educational series amplifying the voices of Black people living with HIV/AIDS in the United States, created to foster empathy, understanding, and lasting social change.
